Johnny and Marty are playing the beginner in their latest Roblox upload, but the channel surrounding that noob act is anything but small. It added roughly 100,000 subscribers in a day, taking it to 10.5 million.

That is far beyond its usual daily increase. Views across the channel are also running at nearly twice their typical daily level, though there is no clear reason to pin the subscriber jump on a particular upload.

The latest video, "Pretending to be NOOB in +1 Spider Arm!", follows a run of make-believe premises: "We Were SEPARATED AT BIRTH in Who's Your Daddy..." and "I Played Roblox on a PLAYSTATION in Roblox…". That last title supplies a neat little loop: playing a game console inside a game.

The channel's older Shorts offer equally literal setups, from choosing the wrong box to sending Johnny down a waterslide in Roblox. Here, even a simple playground activity can become its own virtual adventure.
