Roy Orbison's 'Pretty Woman,' sung by John Fogerty and Bruce Springsteen

The duet opened a four-upload week that also brought a harmonica short, a Bad Moon Rising nod to October and a sold-out night in Thackerville.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Two legends, one Orbison song. John Fogerty opened his week with a clip of himself and Bruce Springsteen covering "Oh, Pretty Woman," the 1964 hit Roy Orbison wrote with Bill Dees. It became the most watched of his new uploads, past 46,000 views. Its comments come from Sweden, Argentina and beyond, and several viewers say Roy would have enjoyed hearing it.

The rest of the week was short and seasonal. A harmonica clip went up on Wednesday and is the newest video still moving at a good clip. On October 1 came a wink at the calendar, "October's here... and there's a Bad Moon Rising," borrowing the 1969 Creedence Clearwater Revival single for the month of ghosts. Then a note from the road: the show in Thackerville, Oklahoma, was sold out.

The video with the most momentum is not new at all. "Fortunate Son Station," nearly four weeks old, is still drawing more daily views than anything posted this week, which suits a channel built on a songbook people keep coming back to.

The channel as a whole ran a little below its usual pace, adding about 3.7 million views and a thousand subscribers. Among the rock and band channels near his size, that puts him in the middle of the pack, close to Queens Of The Stone Age, while Falling In Reverse had the busiest week of the group.
