Mike the Fireman looks at the uneven floor and offers a straightforward solution: "I say rip all this out." Jimmy DiResta's Graveyard House renovation has reached the point where making things himself and knowing when to bring in specialists belong in the same episode.
The property gets its nickname from the graveyard across the road. In "Graveyard House: Rip it out Episode 11", Jimmy fabricates steel clips for new floor joists, trims the original joists and installs tongue-and-groove subflooring. Then Mike the architect assesses uneven wall heights and options for re-engineering the rear roof. These are two different Mikes, with plenty for each to consider.
By the update's close, Jimmy says professional contractors will take over the heavy structural phases while he concentrates on finishing work. "This project is not over," he says. A bonus flashback gives Mike the Fireman room to explain their differing approaches: "You're an artist. I'm a guy who wants to make money."
That contrast carries into the comments. Viewers discuss the artist's eye alongside the practical accounting, trade memories of renovations that stretched far beyond their original schedules, and make a house-of-Theseus joke about how much of the original building will remain.
The episode reached roughly 182,000 views and is the channel's busiest upload right now. His only other new arrival, "A coffin's Geometry is Difficult", had a very small audience in its opening hours. The earlier scissors-restoration video, using a laser cleaner supplied by its manufacturer, is the next strongest source of viewing.
Subscribers held steady, while daily viewing is currently well below Jimmy's usual level. Nearby DIY channels ForgeCore and HAUS PLANS ®️ had much bigger viewing weeks; Jimmy's week was more concentrated on one stubborn house, where even the floor has become a custom metalworking assignment.

@rootman28See it on YouTubeSo interesting how Mike points out how two people see a major project totally differently. You see the "artistic" side while he sees the money side. There is a lesson there somewhere!

@rossbartolomei4317See it on YouTubeHouses are hard - My uncle and I took the challenge of remodeling his house, studs up. We thought a couple years on the weekends would do it. We just finished 2 months ago - 11 years later. I know this pain all too well! It’s turning out great Jimmy - My favorite series you have at the moment!
@FoxHole345See it on YouTubeI love these old farm houses. I even owned one for a while- built in 1863 - and it looked a lot like THIS one... but every time I opened something up, there was SO MUCH that needed to be done over. I'm so glad you are saving this one. I don't know what the ultimate plan is for this house... but a lot would hinge on who is going to own and live in it. Thanks for sharing this project.
@tylerbarrett6652See it on YouTubeI absolutely love the smiles on both your faces when you're discussing this project. You're a great team. An artist and a grafter.
@gavinhill4121See it on YouTubeThe shining respect is what makes the brutal honesty worth listening to. Good example of friendship you two!
