Fluffy handcuffs, a Katseye blind spot and a duet four years in the making
Jacques Ze Whipper's three new videos are all from the faire, and the newest one is a collaboration he says he has meant to make for years.

The Children Are Not Okay
"When Mom Isn't… at the Renn Faire?" is the newest upload on Jacques Ze Whipper's channel. It is a duet with another creator, and his description says he had been meaning to make it for the better part of four years. Barely half a day old, it is already the busiest thing he has.
That suits a channel built on its setting. Jacques is a second-generation circus performer who works Renaissance Faires around the country and appeared on season 17 of America's Got Talent. His shorts tend to come from the faire grounds, and this week's three did too.
The week opened with "The Children Are Not Okay," which passed half a million views and remains the most watched of the three. Next came "Why Do the Kids Know About Fluffy Handcuffs?", where, as the description puts it, the song topic one young performer chose turns out to be "a little sus." Comedy about what kids say, with Jacques left holding the whip and the straight face.
An older video still runs alongside them. "Unc Doesn't Know Katseye," three weeks old and past two million views, keeps drawing about as many daily viewers as the handcuffs short. The joke is all in the title: the global girl group is apparently news to him.
Across the channel, views ran a little above their usual level. Among the sketch and comedy channels close to his size, Off The Hook and Fairbairn Films are having the big weeks, each well above their normal pace, while Teacher Tommy T has been quieter.
