We Tested 7 Major Switch 2 Updates - Kingdom Hearts, Witcher 3, Star Fox & More

GVG gave Nintendo's past predictions a fresh airing: Steve, Jon and Ash reunited for "The Switch was \"Doomed to Fail\"", revisiting the early negative takes on the original console. The discussion is already the channel's busiest video for daily views, giving a seven-upload week a lively finish.

The largest audience among the new releases, though, belongs to "We Tested 7 Major Switch 2 Updates - Kingdom Hearts, Witcher 3, Star Fox & More", with roughly 119,000 views. Beneath it, viewers are discussing what an upgrade ought to include. Several contrast paid versions with free updates, ask about carrying saves forward and pick out Star Fox's hit feedback. Kingdom Hearts also prompts a familiar story-order conversation: viewers stress that the adventures between the numbered games matter too.

There was room for the industry side of those questions. Ash's PAX West interview with NIS president Kenzo Saruhashi explores Game-Key Cards, the digital future and Disgaea's direction. Elsewhere, Jon, Ash and Derrick revisit the audience's favorite game soundtracks from 1988, while "Lost F-Zero GX Codes Get You EVERYTHING" adds a more specialized discovery to the lineup.

Across the channel, the week brought about a million views and an unchanged subscriber count. That was the largest weekly viewing gain among the nearby gaming channels here, with Giant Bomb also having an active week. GVG's current daily viewing is below its usual pace, however, so the weekly total and today's activity tell slightly different stories.

The older "How Powerful Was Nintendo 3DS Really" remains another substantial draw. Between that hardware retrospective, the newly uncovered F-Zero codes and the Switch skepticism discussion, Nintendo history is doing plenty of work alongside the successor's updates.
