Flippy seats in Gears of War: E-Day, played early by Greenskull

An early review code from Xbox shaped most of his ten uploads, from a co-op campaign verdict to a collectible message from The Coalition.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Greenskull got into Gears of War: E-Day ahead of most people, and much of his week of ten uploads came from that early review code. E-Day is the prequel that goes back to Emergence Day, the moment the Locust first attack, and he played the campaign in co-op before sharing his overall verdict in "My Thoughts on Gears of War: E-Day Campaign."

The Gears video people watched most was not the review. It was a short about fold-down seats he could not stop flipping. Its comment section reads like a support group: several viewers say they did exactly the same thing, one just back from finishing the game on Insane, and another says this is reason enough to buy it. A second short points to a message The Coalition, the studio behind the game, hid in a collectible.

The upload drawing views fastest right now comes from a different galaxy. "THIS IS AWESOME | Star Wars: Galactic Racer" is a quick look at a racer full of speeder bikes and podracers, and his description says the crashes remind him of the Burnout games. Between those, he squeezed in a WARDOGS mortar mishap involving his own teammates and a first hour with Aniimo, which he describes as Palworld meets Genshin Impact.

The channel as a whole ran a little above its usual daily pace, with subscribers holding steady around 534,000. Among gaming news and commentary channels of a similar size, the loudest week belongs to Retro Jakes, which added about 20,000 subscribers, while Mind Pulp drew close to twice its normal daily views. Greenskull's week was smaller than theirs, and it came mostly from Gears, with a podrace on the side.
