A silent stone Gear carries E-Day's message beyond the battlefield
The official Gears of War channel pairs its Sanctuary tribute with an accolades trailer thanking players after launch.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Gears of War: E-Day | Never Fight Alone Morida
Gears of War had a substantial week among nearby game channels: Warhammer 40,000 and 2XKO drew larger weekly audiences, while its own collection added about 417,000 views. Subscribers grew modestly, even as daily viewing is currently well below its usual level.
The more watched of two new uploads, "Gears of War: E-Day | Never Fight Alone Morida," turns the focus from combat to what a soldier carries afterward. Its description introduces an anonymous, shrouded stone Gear standing inside the Sanctuary grounds, a tribute to struggles that remain unseen beyond the battlefield. The accompanying release says all net revenue goes to Crisis Text Line.
That upload reached roughly 43,000 views, drawing a larger audience than "Gears of War: E-Day | Accolades Trailer." The latter is The Coalition's post-launch thank-you to players, giving the week a mix of celebration and reflection rather than another story reveal.
In the comments beneath Morida, some viewers look toward other corners of the fictional world. One asks for side campaigns following Anya, Cole, Baird and a former UIR soldier; another wants UIR skins. Others repeat the release's central phrase, "Never Fight Alone." Those are requests and echoes, not announcements of additional content.
The channel's strongest daily draw remains "Gears of War: E-Day | Official Story Trailer," posted seven weeks ago. Morida follows it, while "Gears of War: E-Day | Emergence - Main Theme" keeps the musical side of E-Day in the picture, with Adam Lastwika credited for the theme.
