Gemma Louise Miles has moved from the October Christmas haul we reported here to putting the decorations in place. Her inspiration is specific: Ralph Lauren meets the Plaza Hotel in Home Alone 2, with deep burgundy flowers, frosted glass fruit and brass bells rather than a roomful of novelty ornaments.

The decorating vlog is the most watched of her five new uploads, passing 210,000 views. Gemma starts with a hazelnut coffee in a Santa mug, then works through cushions, the coffee table and a cedar-garland mantel before reaching the tree. The vintage-style needlepoint stockings remind her of childhood. Waffle, her puppy, provides less carefully styled interruptions. The video also includes a sponsored dog-food segment.

This is her ninth consecutive year decorating a Christmas tree with viewers, although filming on October 30 has given the comments a familiar question: how early is too early? The channel added 1,000 subscribers over the week, accounting for its entire net gain over the past month, and daily views are comfortably above usual. Nearby in subscriber size, Josie is also having a busier-than-usual viewing spell. For Gemma, the week's distinctive detail is the contrast: an autumn morning alongside a living room already dressed for Christmas.
