GameLinked's Sony roundup has a laundry-RPG detour
GTA 6, Xbox Labs and Game Freak share the episode as daily channel views climb to nearly eleven times their usual pace.
Why this story? The whole channel is running at 316,577 views a day, 11 times a normal day (29,003).
Sony gets the headline, but GameLinked's busy gaming bulletin ends somewhere rather different: a weather-and-laundry RPG from Game Freak, the studio best known for Pokémon.
The channel is drawing roughly 320,000 views a day, nearly eleven times its usual pace. "Sony might be cooked" stands out among its recent uploads, with about 350,000 views since Friday. As we reported here, that episode opens with Sony shutting down a PS5 homebrew store and clones appearing afterward. The upload also includes a paid sponsorship from dbrand.
There is considerably more packed around that opening story. The chapter list moves through Microsoft's formation of Xbox Labs and a DLSS 5 speed update before reaching a GTA 6 PC-release report. Sega pulling a Total War: Shogun 2 remaster also makes the quick-news section.
Then comes the Game Freak detour, tucked near the end. For a bulletin titled around PlayStation trouble, a laundry RPG is a distinctly unexpected place to finish.
