ForgeCore locks a smartphone inside a 3D-printed landline
Wired EarPods turn a red receiver into a working handset, with the smartphone charging behind a door.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
A phone that fixes brainrot?
The red case swings open, and the supposedly old-fashioned wall phone reveals its secret: a smartphone tucked inside. ForgeCore's "A phone that fixes brainrot?" turns a familiar distraction into something you have to leave on the wall.
The trick is in the receiver. Wired EarPods fit inside it, supplying both the speaker and microphone, while the enclosed phone stays plugged in and charging. The creator demonstrates a call from the couch. It's a deliberately roundabout return to the landline, billed as a way to curb phone distraction rather than another feature to keep you tapping.
The showcase has passed two million views, comfortably the most-watched of ForgeCore's three uploads this week. Viewers have practical follow-up questions: how do you answer or hang up with the screen shut away, and how warm does the phone get inside? Others want an older-looking handset or a curly cord to complete the effect.
Elsewhere on the invention shelf came "I made 1v1 Pinball" and "I turned a pumpkin into a product 🎃 ChatGPT #ChatGPT_Partner", the latter a paid partnership with ChatGPT. Neither drew anything like the landline's audience.
ForgeCore added about 10,000 subscribers over the week, while daily viewing is running well above its usual level. Among nearby building channels, HAUS PLANS ®️ also had a substantial week of viewing and subscriber growth; Fix This Build That is drawing views somewhat faster than usual.
The books haven't closed, either. "I'm hiding games inside my books" remains the channel's next-busiest upload after the phone, bringing concealed tabletop entertainment into a week dominated by a concealed screen.

If you could find earbuds with a curly wire, this design would be 10x more realistic
