Foil Arms and Hog's Halloween mum protects the good toilet paper
Anne's household rules extend from mummy costumes to bonfires in the trio's only new sketch of the week.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Parents at Halloween
Foil Arms and Hog give Anne a doorstep full of trick-or-treaters and plenty of reasons to intervene. Her husband is eating the sweets, a mummy costume threatens the household toilet-paper supply, and the boys' planned bonfire has already been reported to the council. By Anne herself, naturally.
"Parents at Halloween" turns seasonal mischief into domestic administration. Fireworks and sparklers are forbidden; old-fashioned games are offered instead. When eggs hit the door, Anne identifies a banana-costumed culprit and gets straight on the phone to his mother. The cleaning arrangements are not negotiable.
The sketch reached roughly 156,000 views and is comfortably the channel's most active video at present. Viewers are asking to see the behind-the-scenes egg throwing, noticing the little bats on the door frame and discussing Barry's return. Several also pick up on the toilet-paper gag, imagining Anne finally reaching the end of a pandemic stockpile.
It was the Dublin trio's sole upload this week, with "The First One Up the Siege Ladder" and "Every Teacher Staff Meeting - Check out our new Live World Tour" also continuing to draw views. Across the channel, the week brought about 1.2 million views, though subscribers slipped slightly. Daily viewing is a little below its usual level. Among similarly sized sketch channels, You Betcha and dinocornel had much busier weeks, while Johnny Carey's viewing was quieter.
Even the new sketch's tour announcement stays inside Anne's jurisdiction: as the group names Dublin and overseas stops for Smithereens, she has an immediate objection to Amsterdam. The stage itinerary may be international; permission to leave the house remains another matter.

We HAVE TO see the behind-the-scenes egg throwing competition !
@chapouleSee it on YouTubeI see mum has finally gotten to the last roll of Covid toilet paper mountain 😆
@garyneilson1833See it on YouTubeThe two little bats on the door frame are a really nice touch. They look like the moment the door closes they are talking about the costumes and what's happening around them. 🦇

@Emma_W_See it on YouTubeI firmly believe that Hog has been Anne Flanagan in a former life!😊
@SandraOnCloud9See it on YouTubeDefinitely some welcome character development for Barry, he seems less passive. But just seeing him and the Flanagans is such a tonic, thank you!
