Among the stand-up comedians, Gabriel Iglesias sits first of nine by subscribers, with close to twice the count of Trevor Noah and Max Amini, the next two down. None of the others shows a figure for the week, so the attention stays on his own channel, where it all went to Hawaii.
"Aloha Fluffy - Full Special" arrived first, and a day later the same show began coming back in chapters. That sounds like a recipe for the parts to eat into the whole, yet the full special actually picked up speed after its first day and has passed 200,000 views. Parts 1 and 2 came out of the gate quickly and have since settled to roughly half their opening pace.
Then there is Part 3. Barely a day old, it is gathering views faster than anything else on the channel, the complete special included. Maybe some people prefer their Fluffy in smaller bites?
The earlier short uploads were overshadowed. "I’m a Comedian, Not a Bathroom Magician" and "Hey Coldplay, Take My Advice!" now trickle along in the low thousands per day. Thirteen videos went up in all, and Aloha Fluffy carried the week.
