Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 493,684 views a day, 11 times a normal first day on this channel (46,681).

bro got knocked out

The cat starts with a light tap on the contestant's nose, leaving a dusting of white powder. Then comes the absurdly powerful slap, the backward collapse and DrDonut's hand going straight to his mouth.

This is an edited gag, not footage of a cat actually knocking someone out. But the reaction in "bro got knocked out" is emphatic: "Oh, oh my god!"

Posted on DrDonut Clips, the Short drew roughly half a million views in its first day, more than ten times the channel's usual start for that format. Its comment section was also more than five times busier than usual. Viewers turn the scene into boasts about what their own cats could do, with others waiting for DrDonut to announce that he could manage it himself.

The cat clip leads several unusually fast-starting Shorts on the channel, including "why did bro steal it" and "is it helping them". DrDonut owns the highlights channel, but its description makes the division of labor clear: other people clip, edit and post the videos.
