Comedy Central's internet-discourse sketch has viewers talking about the wigs

Key & Peele's lunch-table confrontation tops nine new uploads, alongside Beavis and Butt-Head and Nathan Fielder.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

The argument is about having an opinion. The comments have found another subject: why are both men wearing those wigs?

Comedy Central's "Internet discourse be like... #KeyandPeele" has reached roughly 1.8 million views, comfortably the most-watched of its new uploads this week. Keegan-Michael Key plays a man whose dislike of Christopher Nolan's Batman movies meets Jordan Peele's repertoire of conversational evasions: awkward pauses, chuckles and an exquisitely unhelpful "Anyway." It's a staged lunch-table sketch, not an actual dispute, with every dismissal making the conversation less manageable.

Viewers keep returning to the hairpieces, alongside Peele's facial expressions and the physical comedy involving his cheeks. Others point readers toward the full sketch, noting that this excerpt leaves out its ending. The clip also carries the strongest daily viewing momentum on the channel right now.

Beavis and Butt-Head supplied several of the week's other new entries, moving through job-market trouble, chicken nuggets and driver's ed. That driving clip is the next busiest upload by current daily views, while a fresh Nathan Fielder excerpt revisiting Dumb Starbucks is also drawing attention. "tv deals.mp4," another Nathan for You post, adds a strict dress code to the week's assortment.

Across the channel, views rose by about 9.8 million over the week while subscribers held steady. Daily viewing is running at more than four times its usual pace. Nearby network channels BBC and HISTORY are also having elevated viewing days, while Dropout is quieter than usual. For Comedy Central, the most active attraction remains two men making a casual conversation unnecessarily difficult.
