The Short has drawn more than 100,000 views in its first fifteen hours, already well beyond the roughly 15,000 the channel's Shorts usually receive on their first day. It is a practical clothing fix on a channel whose most-watched tutorials include hemming, welt pockets and binding techniques.

Here, the demonstrator stitches a separate fabric binding strip along the bottom of the pant leg, trims the overlap, then wraps the strip around the raw edge and secures it. Only then is the hem folded upward and stitched along the binding's upper edge. The final turn reveals a flat finish rather than a thick ridge of folded fabric.

"You can use this method even if you do not have an overlock machine at home," the narrator explains. That makes the equipment requirement part of the lesson, not just the finished appearance.
