Every ball against the launcher: Chuffsters' nine-month-old challenge keeps firing
The football challenge from January has passed 23 million views, and it is carrying a channel that posted nothing new in seven days.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Can I Beat the Ball Launcher with Every Ball?! ⚽ 🏈
Among the football creators around his size, Chuffsters had one of the livelier weeks without lifting a boot on camera. No new video went up, yet the channel ran well above its usual daily pace and took in well over a million views across the seven days. Ramo Akh and OzanB Goalkeeper are the giants of the group this week, while Spencer FC is having a quieter stretch.
Most of that traffic flows through one video. "Can I Beat the Ball Launcher with Every Ball?! ⚽ 🏈" is about nine months old, and it is still pulling in several times more daily views than anything else on the channel. The premise is simple: a ball launcher, and every kind of ball fed through it, from footballs to the American kind the second emoji hints at.
The two videos behind it stay in the same playground. "I Busted CRAZY Football Myths!" tests the tricks and hacks that get passed around the sport, and "Every Time I Score, The Football CHANGES!" swaps the ball after every goal, with fellow creator Jamie Fussell pointed to in the description. That one is barely two months old and already past a million.
The descriptions also map out how far the Chuff family of channels has spread: reactions, footy reactions, gaming and longer videos each have their own home. The main channel's promise stays the same one written in its about text: laugh, cry, smile or cringe.
