How to Re Epoxy a Garage Floor

The floor needed another go. ChrisFix says the epoxy installed in his garage two years earlier had yellowed and failed to deliver the durability he had been promised. When fellow automotive creator Tavarish visited, he suggested a coating that had worked in his own shops. That recommendation became the starting point for "How to Re Epoxy a Garage Floor."

With no new uploads this week, that nearly three-month-old tutorial is the channel's busiest video by a considerable margin, accounting for roughly seven in ten of its current daily views. For a creator known for working on cars, the surface underneath them is getting an unusually large share of the attention.

The other active tutorials offer two different kinds of hands-on work. "How to Convert Drum Brakes to Disc Brakes" lays out parts-sourcing options: components from a higher-trim car or aftermarket conversion adapters. "How to PROPERLY Replace a Pool Pump" takes the same step-by-step premise beyond the garage, using common hand tools for a household replacement.

ChrisFix added about 100,000 subscribers over the week despite leaving the upload schedule empty. Daily viewing, though, is running at about a third of its usual pace. Slower daily traffic also characterizes nearby motoring channels including carwow, Top Gear and Donut, while Westen Champlin is much closer to his usual level. Here, the most active project is neither an engine nor a brake job, but a second attempt at getting the garage floor right.
