7 DOG GROUPS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR FIRST-TIME PET PARENTS | Cesar Unleashed

A Husky built for distance, a hound following its nose, a herding dog intent on controlling movement: Cesar Millan's adoption discussion starts with the job behind the dog, not the photograph that makes someone fall in love.

In "7 DOG GROUPS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR FIRST-TIME PET PARENTS | Cesar Unleashed", he explains why he would steer most beginners away from several demanding groups. His point is not that any breed is bad. He asks prospective owners to consider energy, purpose and their own lifestyle before making the match. The guide has the strongest daily viewing momentum among his active uploads, followed by "3 Mistakes With an Excited Dog".

Across fifteen new uploads, that attention to human choices keeps resurfacing. "Just Adopted Dont Pet Yet" urges a slower introduction to a rescue dog's new home. The Life at the Ranch installments examine when rough play escalates and the signals Millan watches before intervening.

Murphy's Better Human Better Dog episode drew the week's largest new audience, reaching roughly 115,000 views. At the Dog Psychology Center, Millan works on the Irish Setter mix's fear of unfamiliar touch while coaching Mike on posture and clearer direction. Viewers discuss why touching a tense dog isn't necessarily comforting and pick out Mike's practice with the muzzle.

The channel added about 10,000 subscribers, with daily viewing close to its usual level. Elsewhere among similarly sized animal channels, Raja and David had a much larger viewing week, while The Dog Daddy was quieter than usual. Millan's own week finds its through line in a practical question: what does the human need to change?

Cesar taught me that petting a dog DOES NOT make them calm or comfort them when they are already tense. But that also applies to people, if we think about it. We wouldn't go touching someone who was tense and nervous, we would try to help them calm down first. So simple and so logical.

Thank you so much for this video! I have adopted a dog who was very stiff when we first got her. Seemed like she was never that used to human "touch". Thankfully, slowly but surely....by showing her and giving her love, she started to open up a bit day by day. I was close to giving up at first, but love wins!
