9:36At the Dog Psychology Center, Millan redirects Beast's attention while walking him among other dogs.
20:17Isabella practices getting Matisse calm before answering the door, rather than only controlling his position.

29:21Millan coaches Celestria to walk confidently and read the leash without continually looking down at Beast.
38:24Beast's final public-walking test begins on a neighborhood street lined with other dogs.

Cesar Millan watches Beast lunge on a walk, but he is paying just as much attention to the tension at the other end of the leash. The Rottweiler's owner, Celestria, is bracing for another incident. Switching between English and German commands isn't changing that.

"The language does not matter if your actions and energy are wrong," Millan tells her.

The Better Human Better Dog episode follows Beast after an attack on a neighborhood dog led to what the family describes as six months of house arrest. His owners are frightened to take him back into public. The upload drew an estimated 52,000 views in its first day, nearly nine times the channel's usual start for regular videos.

Millan brings Beast to his Dog Psychology Center to work around his German Shepherds. But the episode's most personal moment comes later, in a local park: Celestria breaks down over her fear of failing Beast, and the dog approaches and leans against her. Millan works with her on posture, leash handling and asking Johnny to share more of the responsibility.

Viewers are discussing that human side of the training, along with the small moments when Millan scratches Beast during their consultation.

A second household offers a different version of the same problem. Isabella Taylor's Pomeranian-terrier mix, Matisse, has made having guests over difficult for years. Millan's lesson is to establish calm before the door opens, not simply keep moving the dog away from it. The follow-up puts that lesson into practice as Isabella's friends arrive and settle onto the couch.

What viewers say

Never seen Cesar just mindlessly petting a dog during a consultation like he does with Beast. He just read the energy and responded. They had a good dog there and he knew it. Every time Beast hung out with him, he just gave him a good scratch.
