Car Builds describes itself as a home for daily motorcycle encounters. Its newest runaway, though, has no motorcycle in it at all. "Lil Bro Just Wanted to Fish! 😂🎣" passed 535,000 views in its first eleven hours, while a new short here usually ends a whole first day at around 70,000.

The joke, going by the comments, is the water. Viewers keep remarking on how crowded it is with catfish, a few point out the carp swimming among them, and several tease the would-be angler about the rod that seems to be missing. Others mainly want to know where it was filmed. One viewer names Truman Dam in Missouri, another guesses Woodstock, and a commenter from Indonesia adds that there the fish is called ikan lele. The title does not say who shot the footage, and as a clips channel, Car Builds did not make it.

The short has already drawn more than twice the comments a new short here usually collects in a full day. Fishing is a running thread for the channel: "He Let The Big One Get Away!" went up a day earlier.

Older uploads are moving too. "Every Student Driver Needs This Lesson! 😳", posted in late September, picked up speed again and drew about ten times its usual daily views. Meanwhile the channel added 14,000 subscribers in a week and now has 131,000.
