The thumbs get a workout. Bigpuffer starts with a Joy-Con tutorial, takes on computer opponents and then heads online, where a miniature sport becomes a full-sized ambition: "I'm going top rank in thumb wrestling."

"THEY MADE A NEW NINTENDO SPORTS RESORT GAME!" is the week's most-watched new upload, approaching 200,000 views. The solo session takes him into the Pro Leagues, but human opponents introduce some complications. One player's defensive style leaves him struggling, and he starts questioning whether a bigger virtual thumb actually offers any advantage.

Viewers have their own sporting priorities. Several ask where sword fighting has gone, another misses baseball, and one imagines training for the occasion by lifting weights with a thumb. The solo format also draws attention, with viewers noting its appearance on the main channel rather than PufferPlays.

The other new upload, "We Went Back To School...", brings Blarg, Kryoz and Rectrixx into the week. It collected roughly 84,000 views in its opening eight hours and is currently adding views fastest among Bigpuffer's videos. Just outside the week's releases, "They Made Jumanji A HORROR Game!" also remains active, with Grizzy, ElasticDroid, Joe Bartolozzi, sneegsnag and cochardyt named in its description.

Across the channel, subscribers held steady while the archive and new uploads added more than a million views. Daily viewing is currently below its usual level. Among similarly sized variety-gaming channels, bizlychannel had a particularly busy week, while chuggaaconroy's daily viewing stayed close to normal. For Bigpuffer, the distinctive diversion was going solo and finding a ranking ambition in thumb wrestling.

Crazy how they put in thumb wrestling. But didn’t bring back baseball (still upset they didn’t bring it back for the first switch sports) and brought boxing in this one

(Still happy for a solo vid of Puffer)
