Asmongold opens his Poland video by reading posts on X. They claim that Prime Minister Donald Tusk ordered police to take over the Constitutional Tribunal in Warsaw while President Karol Nawrocki was flying abroad. He then goes to Tusk's own account, where the government presents its move as a duty to restore the rule of law.
The other side arrives in broadcast footage. Bartłomiej Sochański, the tribunal's vice-president, speaks in English outside the building. "The tribunal was invaded by police," he says, and then: "Please help us, if anybody can help us in such situation." A viewer in the chat lays out the dispute underneath it all, a long-running feud over how the tribunal's judges were sworn in and whether they are legitimate.
The stream is a live reaction, not a finished explainer. Asmongold switches between Telewizja Republika's live feed, wPolsce24 clips and posts from Polish politicians, and he offers opinions as the material arrives. He finds the scene oddly calm for what some posts were calling a coup ("Zero aura to this military coup," he says) and predicts that the confrontation will fizzle. His sharpest jab is at the timing. Starting a takeover after the president has boarded a plane to Africa strikes him as "Looney Tunes level."
The most watchable stretch has nothing to do with commentary. On Flightradar24 he follows Nawrocki's government plane as it turns around over Spain, then reads the president's statement that he is interrupting his Senegal trip to return home. Later footage shows a locksmith with an angle grinder cutting the chains on the tribunal gates, crowds with flags and religious icons praying outside, and Bogdan Święczkowski entering through the crowd.
The video drew about 1.7 million views since yesterday. Its comment section filled about three times faster than on the channel's usual first day, and much of the discussion there turns to migration and the European Union.
