TheBurntPeanut says he is happy to give the characters back. Asmongold's question is why the people who gave them to him apologized at all.

The dispute began when Dead by Daylight's developers handed the VTuber, who streams behind a peanut avatar, every playable character in the game. Part of the community objected, loudly. Behaviour Interactive, the Montreal studio behind the horror game, then posted a statement about the collaboration, and that statement is where Asmongold starts.

The clip, cut from his stream for the Asmongold Clips channel, drew about 2.3 million views since yesterday. It moves quickly. A gameplay excerpt shows TheBurntPeanut shrugging off the whole affair: "Feel free to take them away from us, we'll take the heat." Asmongold criticizes the studio for apologizing and defends the staff member involved, who he says now faces calls for her firing after being harassed online.

Then he opens the game's Steam page. Recent reviews have slipped to "Mixed," and he reads it plainly: "So, basically this game is getting massively review-bombed." A clip of streamer JustRyan uninstalling the game in protest gets no sympathy. Asmongold mocks it as a gesture made for the camera.

The video closes on one of TheBurntPeanut's own jokes, which leaves Asmongold staring in disbelief, a reminder that the streamer at the center of the row is not a careful one.

It fits the channel's current run. Recent uploads have taken on Pokimane, Kyedae, a Netflix documentary and a campus apology video, each with a title that hints at the drama without naming it. This one is about a video game, though it is mostly about the people around it.
