The apology comes after the campus clip, but Asmongold has already given his answer: he does not think it should be accepted.
An excerpt on Asmongold Clips has drawn about 1.6 million views since yesterday by putting those two recordings together. The official stream-highlights channel, run by Daily Dose of Asmongold, presents his reaction to a UT San Antonio student's remarks mocking Charlie Kirk's death and her subsequent apology.
At the campus event, the student introduces a poem as an exercise in freedom of speech. Christian Collins responds to her remarks with an offer to pray for her. Asmongold explicitly rejects that response, saying he would not do the same.
The student later addresses Kirk's family and Collins in a separate recording. "There's nothing acceptable or funny about political violence, and much less the loss of a person's life," she says.
Asmongold interrupts the apology and argues that it reflects the consequences of the backlash rather than genuine remorse. That is his judgment of her motives, not something the recordings establish. He also argues that harsh consequences are necessary to discourage similar behavior.
Despite its title, "Most Controversial Clip on the Internet Right Now," the upload centers on a specific disagreement: the student asks for forgiveness, while Asmongold argues against granting it.
