Video taking off 48x its usual first day

A cart built in the aisle stars in Arthur Frederick's 'Try Not to Crash Out'

Billed as proof that the customer is never right, his new reaction video has commenters swapping shop-floor stories and teasing him about Italian Bach.

Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 156,145 views a day, 48 times a normal first day on this channel (3,274).

Try Not to Crash Out: Customer ServiceTry Not to Crash Out: Customer Service

Nine hours after Arthur Frederick posted "Try Not to Crash Out: Customer Service," it was close to 90,000 views. On this channel, a new upload usually ends its whole first day with a few thousand.

The premise is in the title. Arthur, who also goes by ArthurTV, watches clips of customers losing their temper in shops and restaurants and tries to keep his own. The description states the thesis bluntly: the customer is never right, and here is the evidence. The scene viewers bring up most is a man in a hardware store who assembles a cart in the middle of the aisle before paying for it, with his own phone propped up to film the whole thing. Several commenters point out that an assembled one was already on display. Other clips include a Subway order that fell apart over a promotion the location would not honor, and a snow-cone stand where a closed window screen started an argument.

A good part of the comment section comes from people who have worked these jobs. Former store employees explain why opening a box you have not paid for is a problem, and others add their own worst customers. One was scolded for making the food too fast. The other running thread is Italian Bach, who is listed in the description among the creators Arthur often appears with. Many of the most liked comments joke that the two are in sync again, and the top one teases that someone copied someone's homework.

The video arrives two days after "Worst Day Ever," the bad-day reel that took off, as we reported here. That one has since passed 200,000 views. His other uploads from the same days, a live-TV blooper reel and a question about Deontay Wilder, are still in the thousands. For now, Arthur's audience is following him into rooms where someone is about to lose it.
