AFV Shorts opens its security-camera compilation with a woman stepping through her front door and falling through an open basement hatch. From below, she answers: "Uh, no. I am all right."

That opening sets a more precarious tone than the everyday embarrassment of a doorbell-camera encounter. An unstable ladder topples, porch ceiling planks collapse beside people, and a snowblower bursts into flames on a snowy driveway. The cameras stay fixed while ordinary household tasks go abruptly wrong.

The compilation reached about 667,000 views in 14 hours, already far beyond the channel's usual full-day audience for a Short. Its comment section is also much busier than a typical first day.

Viewers repeatedly return to the open hatch, questioning its placement beside the entrance and pointing out the danger. Another recurring subject is the dog owner pulled across the snow by two leashed dogs, which prompts comparisons to dog sledding. Some comments speculate about injuries, but the video gives no basis for reporting those guesses as outcomes.

Not every mishap involves a fall. A woman lifting an overturned basketball hoop gets drenched by water pouring from its base, while a package pickup turns awkward when a delivery driver arrives to find the resident outside in underwear and socks.
