A regen Lewis Hamilton and a V8 comeback open aarava's fourth My Team season
Within eleven hours the comment section was already busier than on a usual full first day, and much of it is a debate over whether a lookalike Hamilton is a good idea.
Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 66,794 views a day, 6.2 times a normal first day on this channel (10,772).
Signing a REGEN Lewis Hamilton! V8 Engine's Return & More! | F1 26 MY TEAM CAREER S4
Season 4 of aarava's F1 26 My Team career starts with a signing that sounds impossible: Lewis Hamilton. Not the real one. The title promises a "REGEN" Hamilton, a newly generated young driver built in his image, and the description says aarava made him himself, along with the team livery and a Gucci-dressed Alpine.
The opener had about 43,000 views eleven hours after it went up, where a new episode here usually ends its whole first day near 11,000. The Season 3 episode posted the day before, about a three-wide moment at Turn 1 in Canada, is still in the low thousands.
Regens come from football games. In Football Manager and EA's FC series, retired stars are replaced over the years by computer-generated youngsters, sometimes with familiar faces and names. aarava carries the idea into Formula 1, and the comments show both sides of it. One viewer who has never played a football game calls the concept a revelation. Others would rather invent fresh stories for new drivers than revisit old ones. Several viewers call the driver Louis Harrison, and the jokes about a bargain-bin Hamilton are many.
The rest of the title is about sound. The tags point to a V8 engine mod, a nod to the era in which Hamilton spent his whole McLaren career and won his first title, and the team still runs Lamborghini power, the setup that brought Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo back to the grid in earlier seasons.
Viewers also noticed that aarava left the bloopers in, and one has already set the bar for the new signing: a climb from 18th to third would prove the idea right.
