The Great Deku Tree has a voice, but Zack Scott hasn't been relieved of all his reading duties. As he explores the Ocarina of Time remake on Nintendo Switch 2, a conversation with Saria brings a small correction to his opening excitement: some dialogue still needs the player to read it aloud.

That mix of discovery and recognition runs through the opening of his new walkthrough. Navi wakes Link, Kokiri Forest opens up, and Mido promptly blocks the way to the Great Deku Tree. Saving Hyrule will have to wait until Link has a sword and shield.

The first installment drew roughly 140,000 views in its opening day, an unusually strong start for ZackScottGames. Its comment section was also much busier than usual for the channel's long videos and streams.

For Zack, the return isn't quite a memory test. He describes his recollection of the game as more atmosphere than detail, making the playthrough feel almost like a first visit. Viewers bring their own points of entry: one grandmother plans to play alongside him, another commenter is preparing to experience Ocarina of Time for the first time, and others single out the opening music.

Back in the forest, the immediate problem is less legendary than practical: the shop won't haggle over a shield. Zack's search for rupees eventually takes Link into Mido's house, where a note permits visitors to take the money from his chests. The character keeping him out of the adventure also helps fund his way in.
