Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

METRO Redux - Next Gen Update Launch

Ruined stations, warnings about humanity's future and a familiar name: Artyom. XBOX's most watched new upload returns to Metro's underground, where a technical refresh comes wrapped in the series' bleak atmosphere.

"METRO Redux - Next Gen Update Launch" is a promotional trailer for updates to Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux. Between combat and wasteland exploration, it advertises improved lighting, spatial audio and higher-resolution, higher-frame-rate options. The detail getting particular attention in the comments is simpler: existing owners receive the upgrade free. Other viewers are planning another playthrough, while one has just started reading Metro 2033 and finds the timing particularly convenient.

The trailer reached roughly 160,000 views in its first half-day, making it the most watched of XBOX's fifteen uploads this week. It also has the strongest daily momentum across the channel. The new Mouthwashing launch trailer is another busy arrival, pairing its derelict-spacecraft horror with Imogen Heap's "Headlock."

Returning worlds run through the lineup. The Wolf Among Us remaster trailer offers Bigby's detective story with restored deleted scenes and a Noir Mode, while "Cronos: Lazarus Story Trailer" introduces a prequel mission involving the Pathfinder, teleportation and a pursuing Tracker. These are game promotions on XBOX's official brand channel, rather than independent reviews.

Channel-wide viewing is running below its usual daily pace, and subscribers were unchanged over seven days. Among nearby gaming channels, LoL Esports had a particularly large viewing week, while Nintendo of America's daily viewing is above its norm. For XBOX, the most active corner is currently a return trip beneath the surface with Artyom.
