Warhammer's Deathmaster gives its rat assassin a plague problem
Vihneek's stealth-platforming debut has viewers spotting Skaven jokes and drawing comparisons with Mark of the Ninja.

Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Deathmaster – Story Trailer
"You now belong to Clan Skryre," a narrator tells the hooded assassin, before wondering how long he will survive. It is not much of a welcome, but Vihneek has more immediate problems: enemy ratmen, spinning spikes and a plague threatening the clan.
Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Deathmaster turns that predicament into side-scrolling stealth and acrobatics. Posted on Warhammer's official channel, its promotional story trailer mixes illustrated scenes with early alpha gameplay from Old Skull Games and publisher Dotemu. Vihneek clings to walls, strikes with blades and climbs through shafts crowded with machinery. A massive spiked war machine supplies another reason to keep moving.
The trailer drew roughly 138,000 views in half a day, far beyond the channel's usual start for uploads of this length. The comment section was already much busier than a typical full first day, too, with plenty to discuss beyond the release announcement.
Several viewers make the same connection: Mark of the Ninja, another game built around side-scrolling stealth. Others pick through the distinctly Skaven details, pointing out a defaced Sigmar statue and counting the bell tolls. The ratmen's doubled-up speech has spilled into the replies, where becoming a Deathmaster apparently requires saying things twice.
Despite the description's promise that the game launches soon, the trailer's closing card gives the more useful date: 2027.
