Only spooky Pokémon are allowed, and WolfeyVGC has barely enough warning to assemble them. In "I Entered a Terrifying Pokemon Tournament," Wolfe Glick discovers Spooky Cup just hours before play begins, leaving no time to test his team.

That makes the week's sole upload more than a seasonal dress-up exercise. A restricted field gives him different problems to solve: Mega Eelektross supplies attacking coverage, Mega Malamar offers stat-boosting possibilities, and Sinistcha brings Trick Room. The opening matchup against Skrawl immediately puts the preparation under pressure, with familiar faces appearing on both teams. The video includes a paid sponsorship segment for Roco Kingdom.

Between matches, the competitive self-analysis gets wonderfully specific. After a difficult round, Glick returns having eaten black bean soup and declares that it will lead him to victory. His diagnosis of the earlier play is less reassuring: "It's actually kind of unthinkable how much I overthought this."

Viewers have their own priorities. Several pick out the edit that replaces Eelektross with a sock; others recognize Skrawl or suggest a future trading-card tournament detour.

The upload reached roughly 471,000 views in its opening thirteen hours and is the channel's busiest video right now. "What is the Worst Psychic Type Pokemon?" supplies the next strongest momentum, while the older Pokémon Champions tournament featuring Mega Steelix continues adding views.

Across the week, WolfeyVGC added about 4.3 million views, with subscribers unchanged. Daily viewing is close to its usual level, unlike the quieter pace at nearby gaming channels OperatorDrewski and Vixella. For Glick, the week's fresh attraction is an unfamiliar tournament field, approached with plenty of theory and no rehearsal.

Like wolfey said restriction creates variety.
