Gold bars, a zeroed sniper and fifteen uploads: Westie's WARDOGS week
Between the WARDOGS patch videos sat a creepy first look at the extraction shooter Active Matter and a sponsored flight in Ace Combat 8.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Gold Bars in WARDOGS are getting CHEAP!
Fifteen uploads went up on Westie this week, and nearly all of them circle the same 100-player battlefield. WARDOGS, the three-faction shooter his description sums up as Arma's King of the Hill rebuilt with tanks, helicopters and a persistent cash economy, is where his channel lives right now.
The video about the deleted IR rangefinder, which we covered here when it landed, is still the week's most watched upload. Its comments have moved on from outrage to engineering. Players are drafting their own fixes for spotting: fading map markers, a note in the death log saying whether you were spotted, a spotter-and-sniper incentive for pairs. Several point out that the real trouble was whole teams buying the rangefinders at spawn. A follow-up on the removal and the CIWS change kept the subject going.
The newest thread is money. "Gold Bars in WARDOGS are getting CHEAP!" has been out for a day and a half and is close behind the rangefinder video for pace, which fits a game where every bullet and revive costs cash. A practical one, "You NEED to Zero Your Sniper in WARDOGS," rounds out the guides.
Two detours broke the routine. Active Matter, a new extraction shooter full of anomalies and a levelable monolith, earned the title "I Didn't Expect Active Matter To Be This Creepy!" There was also a sponsored hands-on with Ace Combat 8: Wings Of Theve.
All of it lifted the channel well above its usual daily pace, though the subscriber count sat still at 951,000. Among similar shooter channels, Overstrand had by far the biggest week. Westie's views gained put him third in that group, while several larger names had a quieter stretch.

I quite like the spotting system. Most I'd say is that spotted enemies should only be spotted for your team
@IbuKondo-r7hSee it on YouTubeThey need to find an incentive to work in pairs for snipers and spotters. Your effectiveness goes way up as a sniper if you don't need to constantly switch between spotting and sniping.
@jeremylanier4743See it on YouTubea little annoying now that the average player might finally be reaching them it gets removed
