The tablet wins, at first. In "I'M AN IPAD KID NOW.", Tyler & Snowi try out a Roblox update that puts a working iPad inside the game, so the usual arrangement flips: you are no longer playing Roblox on an iPad, you are playing an iPad on Roblox.

The roleplay drew about a million views since yesterday. It opens in a plaza where Tyler tries to chat with other players and gets nowhere, because every one of them is staring at a screen. Soon he has one too. He works out sums on the calculator, draws in Freeform, checks where players are on the map and takes a selfie with Snowi for his wallpaper. That is the last sweet moment for a while.

Then come the games: Pou, Flappy Wings, Snake Arena. Longtime viewers will know Pou. The pair's "Pou's Revenge" episode is among the most watched videos on the channel. Here the virtual pet is just another reason Tyler stops answering. A low battery does not slow him down either; he plugs in at the charging zone and keeps going beside everyone else. When he wants Angry Birds and runs out of coins, he takes Snowi's credit card from her backpack.

Snowi, playing a white cat in a winter hat and scarf, answers with horror. She disguises herself as Verity, the smiley-masked figure from the channel's "illegal" mods upload two days earlier, then sends Tyler unsettling photos by AirDrop and a FaceTime call telling him to put the screen down. His answer is to buy an Apple Vision Pro with her card and get lost in a dinosaur safari.
