I was onboard until the chicken showed up 🐶🐔😻 #shorts #funny #animals

The dog is rolling and pawing at a black-and-white cat on the grass when a brown chicken charges in. The cat jumps up and scatters. Then the chicken turns toward the much larger dog, who lies still and watches.

That abrupt change of command is the joke in a fast-moving Short posted by the animal-clips channel TOTALLY FUNNY ANIMALS. It has reached roughly 97,000 views, with an estimated first-day pace more than twenty times the channel's usual Shorts start.

The on-screen caption, "I hate neighborhood drama," gives this little lawn encounter the framing of a dispute over the fence. Behind the camera, someone giggles as the chicken struts around and the cat prowls in the background.

Viewers have supplied competing explanations: some cast the chicken as the cat's protector, another sees it defending the dog, and others imagine a jealous interruption. The clip shows the chicken charging at the cat, but its motives are anyone's guess. What is visible is the dog's remarkably quiet response once the chicken takes over the lawn.
