Rico rides the Bus #shorts
An ordinary day on Theheartbreaksfamily already brings in close to two million views, and this week ran a little warmer than that. For a channel of this size, a little above normal still means a great deal of people.
Most of that attention went to the shortest thing on the menu. "Rico rides the Bus #shorts," posted on Friday, passed 300,000 views in three days and is the busiest of the seven new uploads. Its comment section is mostly laughing emojis, plus a few viewers who say they would happily ride along. Another short, "He took her #shorts," is close to 100,000. A ten-day-old one, "She did it ! #shorts," is still picking up views as well.
The longer videos told a story in installments. "MY MOM IS A POND MONSTER… HELP ME !" came first, and the next day's "THE POND MONSTER TOOK ROYAL.. NOW HE'S GONE !" carried the plot forward. On Saturday, "67 DAD CAPTURED ME AND LOCKED ME UP FOREVER!" moved the family's pretend villains from the pond to Dad. Its title borrows the "67" catchphrase that schoolkids have been shouting for a while now. These videos draw much smaller crowds than the shorts, but they are where the family's make-believe adventures play out.
Among couples and family channels of a similar size, no one added more views this week. Christi Fritz and Crazy Pieces both ran well below their usual pace. The channel gained about 5,000 subscribers and now sits at 898,000.
