Andrew Schulz gives pyramid-building aliens a wasted journey

The Comedy Cellar routine has passed five million views during another week without a new upload.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Andrew Schulz imagines aliens arriving in Mexico to discover that the pyramid builders have already finished the job. In his Comedy Cellar routine, elaborate theories about extraterrestrial construction give way to something more practical: workers with a Saturday deadline and a quinceañera to prepare for.

"Why Mexicans are the GREATEST Workers in HISTORY #standupcomedy #comedy" is the channel's most active video right now, approaching four months old and reaching roughly 5.2 million views. Its current daily audience is more than twice that of "Periods Need Better Marketing... #standupcomedy," with the Akiko filming clip also continuing to draw viewers.

There were no new uploads this week, but the catalog brought in about 1.3 million views. Daily viewing is now more than double its usual level, even as the subscriber count stayed unchanged over the week.

Among nearby stand-up channels, Max Amini and Jimmy Carr had particularly substantial weeks for views and subscriber growth. Schulz's weekly viewing was quieter than the others in that group, including similarly sized Dry Bar Comedy. On his own channel, though, an imaginary alien construction crew is finding plenty of work between releases.
