Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Rando's Last Rap #yuyuhakusho #abridgedseries #parody

Rando has delivered his rhyming put-down, but Yusuke isn't getting any smaller. The villain is. In TeamFourStar's "Rando's Last Rap #yuyuhakusho #abridgedseries #parody", a little swamp gunk in an ear proves more useful than a clever counterattack.

The sketch makes the curse target the most insecure person who can hear it. Yusuke, temporarily unable to hear clearly, escapes its effects; Rando supplies his own undoing. Viewers are picking up on the setup, especially Yusuke's earlier puzzled responses after leaving the water. Others are asking for captions to catch his disgusted noises in the background.

That was TeamFourStar's sole new upload this week, reaching roughly 115,000 views. The wider Genkai tournament remains the channel's most active recent video: "Yu Yu Hakusho Abridged: Genkai Tournament | Toonami Abridged" has passed 1.3 million views and is drawing more daily viewing than the shorter tournament excerpts. Nick Landis directed and wrote that parody, as well as voicing both Yusuke and Kuwabara, with Scott Frerichs editing and co-writing.

Across the channel, the week brought about four million views, while the subscriber count held steady. Daily viewing is modestly above its usual level. Among nearby anime and tabletop channels, Avatar Legends and Critical Role had similarly sized viewing weeks, while Gigguk was quieter. For TeamFourStar, the tournament is continuing to supply both the longer adventure and the bite-sized jokes.

What viewers say

I do appreciate the foreshadowing of Yusuke only saying "what" after getting out of the water.
