Despite Man City’s guilty verdict, Darren Bent still calls Pep Guardiola's achievements phenomenal!🏆Despite Man City’s guilty verdict, Darren Bent still calls Pep Guardiola's achievements phenomenal!🏆

talkSPORT spent the week where English football spent it: on Manchester City. A day after the 'guilty of all charges' clip sent the channel far above its usual pace, as we reported here, the conversation moved from the verdict to what it means for the man in the dugout.

The clip people pressed play on most belongs to Darren Bent. Sitting alongside Andy Goldstein on Drive, the former England striker, who played for Tottenham, Sunderland and Aston Villa among others, still calls Pep Guardiola's achievements phenomenal, verdict or not. It passed 100,000 views in about ten hours. The full Drive show it came from moves at a fraction of that pace, which says something about how the station's audience likes its radio: one strong opinion, cut short.

The rest of the fifteen uploads read like a day's schedule. Ben Jacobs brought more detail on the case to Hugh Woozencroft and Perry Groves on Kick-Off, the former Arsenal winger lending the debate a view from a club that finished behind City more than once. Jason Cundy and Jamie O'Hara took The Sports Bar live, and Rushden and Baker closed the night with their sideways look at the day.

Across the channel, views are running a little above the usual daily level. Among the football channels nearest in size, Sky Sports News and The Overlap are having the bigger lift on the same story, while FutVibes and AFTV hold close to their normal pace.
