Stromedy spent the week on the trail of Cat in the Hat, and all six uploads keep the chase going. Three went up on the same Tuesday, and one of them ran far ahead of the other two: "Drone catches Cat in the Hat in Real Life under haunted bridge!! (He was pissed)" is already near 1.8 million views and still pulling in something like 350,000 a day.

Its two companions from that Tuesday, a nervous "Do I run? Cat in the Hat is watching…" and a playground sighting on the swings, are moving at a fraction of that pace. The weekend brought three more short chapters, from "We finally found him…" to "He's been waiting outside my house…", each with a trailing ellipsis and each only hours into its run.

The story did not start this week. Two videos from nine days ago, "If you ever see Cat in the Hat outside your house at night... LOCK YOUR DOORS & HIDE!" and "Found him!!!", are still among the busiest on the channel, so the earlier episodes are keeping pace alongside the new ones.

Among the comedy sketch channels, Stromedy sits fourth of nine by subscribers, just behind Speed McQueen and Brandon B and a short step ahead of yoangelolo.
