Archer's coalition speech meets Starfleet's next class on Star Trek
The New York Comic Con upload features Holly Hunter, Robert Picardo and a special anniversary conversation with William Shatner.

Captain Jonathan Archer's Powerful "Terra Prime" Speech #StarTrek #StarTrekENT
Scott Bakula's Jonathan Archer supplied the official Star Trek channel's most watched new upload, with his "Terra Prime" speech drawing about 18,000 views. It is a fitting choice for the franchise's anniversary celebrations: an Enterprise moment about finding common ground rather than simply getting through the next encounter.
The replies give that scene a life beyond the speech itself. Viewers discuss Ambassador Soval's applause and what it means for his attitude toward humanity. One notices how Archer moves among his crew, recalling teachers who made students feel included. Others want a sequel built around Federation President Archer. That is a wish in the comments, not an announcement.
There was an actual look forward, too. "NYCC: Star Trek Universe" brings Starfleet Academy to New York Comic Con, with Holly Hunter, Robert Picardo, the younger cast and co-showrunners Alex Kurtzman and Noga Landau. The description previews the cadets' second year aboard the USS Athena, including difficult diplomacy and a mysterious new arrival. William Shatner's anniversary conversation connects that classroom future to the original Captain Kirk. The panel upload is currently attracting the most daily views, followed by Archer's speech and "Data.exe has stopped working #StarTrek #StarTrekTNG."
Across six uploads, the channel also made room for Worf, space fashion and Kirk, Spock and McCoy encountering eerie apparitions on Pyris VII. Subscribers were unchanged over the week, and daily viewing is below its usual pace. Nearby television channels including Shameless and BBC Antiques Roadshow had substantially busier viewing weeks, but Star Trek's own shelf offers a particularly broad trip: founding ideals, cadet dilemmas and a little android comedy.

What viewers say
I liked the way Cpt. Archer supports and surrounds his crew by weaving his way around his crew to make them feel they're important to him-and him to them. I had teachers and professors that did that as they taught and lectured us. Others just sat at their desks or just stood at their lectern and maybe turned to face us if we asked a question or uf they asked us to answer theirs.

@scottkfilgoSee it on YouTubeThe fact Ambassador Soval was the first one to stand and applaud, is hugely significant. He'd always been resistant to humanity being among the stars as he queried their maturity for it but this moment told him that they'd finally arrived. Such an awesome and well written moment.
