Rebecca Zamolo and Yoss squeeze inside a kitchen cabinet to gather intelligence: what, exactly, belongs in Zadie's dream treehouse? Unicorns, a big slide, a climbing wall and a dumpling room make the wish list. Delivering it before she gets home is another matter.

"Storm Destroyed My Daughter's Treehouse..." is a family challenge vlog with staged comedy scenes, built around a storm-damage premise and a secret backyard makeover. Posted today, it has drawn nearly 89,000 views in just over two hours.

Rebecca takes charge of construction while her husband Matt keeps their daughter occupied with a daddy-daughter day. Builder Jeff supplies the practical limits: with only until evening to work, Rebecca must choose between a climbing wall and a second story. The climbing wall stays.

The unicorn requires a separate mission. Rebecca visits Alan Chikin Chow's studio for a giant plush one, turning the collection into a comic sneak-around involving lockers, a bathroom stall and Alan's collaborator Michelle. Back at the build, Rebecca and Yoss also use an AI video generator to imagine unicorn-themed designs.

Then the slide arrives: small and blue, rather than the large pink version they expected. A replacement would take a week, which is no use for a surprise scheduled for that evening. Their workaround is a large drainage tube running down the hillside into a ball pit.

Before Rebecca tries it herself, a watermelon gets the first test run. Matt, meanwhile, has his own assignment to complete: a daddy-daughter dance in a suit and pink tutu.
