Recognizing a chorus is one thing. Decoding Train's "Drops of Jupiter" from a visual puzzle asks a different kind of musical memory. In "Do Teens Know 2000's Best Songs?", shared on REACT, Harry puts six teen contestants through both, then adds karaoke, samples and music-video stills.
Capri, Charlie, Lucas, Venice, Marcus and Natalie take turns working through a playlist whose Y2K label is rather roomier than its title suggests. Viewers have been pointing out that several selections, including Britney Spears' "...Baby One More Time" and Backstreet Boys' "I Want It That Way," actually arrived in the late nineties. Another talking point is the meaning of Baha Men's "Who Let the Dogs Out," with commenters challenging the interpretation offered in the episode. Nostalgia comes with annotations.
The quiz was the most watched of REACT's six uploads this week, reaching roughly 190,000 views. "Gen Z vs Iconic Queen Songs" supplied another extended recognition test, while "Do You Know Nirvana Songs?" mixed song rounds with a "Polished or Unplugged?" segment and a live-performance comparison. The Nirvana upload currently draws the most daily views among the channel's active videos, just above the teen quiz.
Across the clips channel, daily viewing is more than twice its usual level, though subscribers were unchanged over the week. Infinite is also seeing elevated daily viewing; John Casterline had a particularly large week in the nearby reaction-and-commentary group.
REACT's shorter music shelf has its own continuity: new LE SSERAFIM posts accompany an older dance clip of the group that remains among the channel's busiest uploads.
