"What's the pay like?" is not the response Blitzø needs from his sister when an assassin is threatening him. But Barbie sees a possible business partner where her brother sees someone who has already tried to kill him.

That reversal drives Prime Video's fast-starting Helluva Boss Short, which passed half a million views in less than a day. The scene comes from the adult animated comedy's third season, with Barbie interrupting Striker's confrontation with Blitzø and promptly asking about joining him.

Blitzø tries to explain the obvious problem with this arrangement. Barbie answers his warning with another question: "Who hasn't tried to kill you?" Her confidence that she can fix Striker supplies the joke; her brother's increasingly desperate attempt to help her takes the scene somewhere less comfortable.

The exchange stops being playful when Barbie brings up their family's past. Blitzø is left in tears, and Striker recognizes that this encounter has given him a way to hurt his target without firing a shot.

In the comments, viewers pick apart both halves of the scene: Striker's quick willingness to accept Barbie and whether her intervention suggests she still cares about her brother, despite rejecting his help. The comment section is already far busier than Prime Video's usual full day for a Short.

Another Helluva Boss upload, "Blitzø and Loona Share an Emotional Moment | Helluva Boss Season 3 | Clip | Prime Video," also drew an unusually large early audience for the channel's regular-length videos.

I know the scene makes it _abundantly_ clear how much Barbie disdains Blitzø… But it also more subtly shows that she DOES still care for him, at least enough to NOT want her brother _dead or stranded,_ otherwise she’d have left him dead to Striker’s rights, or even left behind on Earth without an Asmodean Crystal.
