The league's own channel put up fifteen videos, and most of the busiest landed on the same Wednesday. "Gvardiol's Dolphin Dive Celebration 🤣🐬" holds the biggest total, close to two million, with Haaland being teased by Sunderland supporters and "Enzo Fernandez’s Redemption 😤" not far behind. The slower starters are the quicker movers now: a compilation of ever more clutch moments and a referee left stunned by a finish are both outpacing the Gvardiol clip day by day.

Then there is "THE ANFIELD CAT! 🐱", which opened fastest of the week's top six and has since settled to less than half its first-day speed. It is still the third-busiest video on the channel.

Among the football clubs, leagues and media channels, Premier League sits third of nine by subscribers, behind Liverpool FC and Manchester United and a small step above Man City.
