"When it's time to play Marvel's Wolverine but... you're Wolverine." gives away its joke in the title, and it is the busiest thing on PlayStation right now. Barely a day old, it is gathering views faster than any of the fifteen uploads the channel put out over the week, including the release date trailer for BeamNG.drive.
The Wolverine theme runs through more than one video. Two days earlier came "Get your claws up for this quick guide to being Wolverine from Logan himself, Liam McIntyre," and it still holds the week's biggest total. It has slowed since its first day, though, and the newer clip now moves roughly four times faster.
The traditional trailers opened well and then settled. Call of Duty x DOOM, Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve and the EA Sports FC 27 launch all started brightly and have since eased to a gentler pace. The quiet surprise sits second on current speed: "Cave Crave - Tham Luang Cave Update Out Now Trailer | PS VR2 Games," a day-old virtual reality update that is outpacing every big-name trailer from the week.
PlayStation sits first of nine by subscribers among the game publisher and esports channels, with League of Legends and Fortnite the next two down.
