"Mike Myers Reveals His Favorite Part of 'Shrek 2' at the Oscars!" is a clip from the 77th ceremony, in 2005, on the Academy's official channel. Myers, who voiced Shrek, opens by quoting the film critic André Bazin and the director Jean-Luc Godard on the art of cinema before getting to what he admires in his own sequel. It had a lively first day and has since slowed to a gentle trickle.

The week's other upload traveled much further. "Jimmy Kimmel Roasts Robert Downey Jr. at the 96th Oscars!" comes from the 2024 show, the night Downey won his first Oscar, for Oppenheimer. The description says Kimmel toasts that career high before pushing the joke one step further. A week in, it is past 150,000 views.

The channel's real engine is still older material. Kimmel's De Niro roast from the same night, which celebrates De Niro and Jodie Foster returning 48 years after 'Taxi Driver', is six weeks old and still the busiest video. Close behind is Steve Martin's 75th Oscars bit about setting aside a million dollars a week, Tom Cruise style. The two new clips join a catalog that has passed three billion views, and subscribers held steady. By that count the Oscars sit fourth among nine similar TV and streaming channels.
