JayBay brings "TO THE LEFT" to On The Radar Radio

The rapper's animated studio performance has passed 100,000 views, far beyond the channel's usual start for a Short.

Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 78,941 views a day, 95 times a normal first day on this channel (832).

JayBay "TO THE LEFT" Performance

JayBay barely stays still at the microphone. Against On The Radar Radio's glowing green backdrop, he delivers "TO THE LEFT" with sharp hand gestures, animated expressions and a bounce that carries through the brief drill performance.

The Short's estimated first-day views were roughly 95 times the channel's usual opening for that format. That makes this particular clip a standout, rather than part of a channel-wide surge: On The Radar Radio's overall daily views are slightly below their usual level.

It's a live studio rendition of a named song, not one of the freestyles that feature so prominently in the platform's catalog. Those include appearances by DThang, Drake and Central Cee, as well as the group cypher with Kyle Richh, Jenn Carter and Tata. Here, JayBay has the microphone to himself, with the verse building through increasingly emphatic gestures before its final punchline.
