New Zealand Cricket posted nine videos this week, and the first of them is still the busiest. "Tim Southee Takes Hat-Trick Against India" went up on September 24 and, six days on, is still gathering views at a pace the rest of the week's uploads mostly cannot match. The title promises three wickets in a row from the veteran BLACKCAPS seamer, a feat most bowlers never pull off.

India turn up again in "Superman Takes Down India," posted three days later and moving almost as quickly. The title keeps the catcher or bowler behind the nickname a mystery. Glenn Phillips gets his own short, "That is HUGE," with a stadium emoji doing the explaining. Then there is a plainly local entry, a club game between Lake Taupo CC and United Taupo. It had a much smaller audience, and it keeps grassroots cricket on the same page as the internationals.

Overall the channel ran a little below its usual daily pace, and subscribers held flat. The neighbors had a softer stretch too. Sports TV was drawing about half its normal views and the All Blacks roughly a third. That leaves the Southee clip as the one still pulling its weight.
