Colorado gives Nick O'Leary a first drive in the GLE

His Mercedes review shares a three-upload week with an ID. Tiguan announcement and an AMG startup-sound comparison.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

FIRST DRIVE in the NEW Mercedes GLE 2027!FIRST DRIVE in the NEW Mercedes GLE 2027!

The buttons get a mention. Beneath Nick O'Leary's "FIRST DRIVE in the NEW Mercedes GLE 2027!", viewers are discussing physical climate controls, conventional vents and door handles, the everyday hardware that can feel like a noteworthy feature in a screen-heavy car.

The Colorado first drive was comfortably his most watched new upload, reaching about 78,000 views. Nick moves from exterior changes and trims into the cabin before getting to the drive. The visit was hosted by Mercedes-Benz with transportation and hospitality assistance; he says the brand had no editorial input or advance approval.

The comments bring the discussion down to ownership level. Running boards prompt talk about muddy trousers and getting in and out, while others ask for a closer look at the coupe. It's a useful contrast with the week's shorter Mercedes upload, "Mercedes GLE 53 vs GLE 63 S | STARTUP SOUND! 🚗 💨", which makes the engine note the subject. His other new video, "NEW Volkswagen Tiguan 2027 ANNOUNCED!", is an at-home roundup using media assets, with the description identifying the announced car as the ID. Tiguan.

Across the channel, views added over the week came to nearly half a million, and the subscriber audience grew modestly. Among nearby motoring channels, OGS & Mechanics had a particularly busy week, while TJ Hunt Clips was quieter. Nick's daily viewing is currently a little above its usual pace.

The GLE first drive is also his busiest video right now, but the tech side hasn't disappeared beneath the new-car coverage. "iOS 27 Apple CarPlay | 10 NEW FEATURES!" continues drawing viewers with its Siri overhaul and multimedia changes, followed by "Living with a VW Golf R for a WEEK! | FULL REVIEW!". That Golf R test supplied both a full ownership-style review and the car used for his CarPlay exploration.

What viewers say

  • Props to Mercedes for keeping buttons for climate controls, keeping normal vents, touch pad and normal door handles. Just 5-6 years ago it seemed like something normal everyone just expected a car to have, now its a feature.

  • For me the Merc interior is the the only thing I like about their cars. I know they’re quality but for me it’s always been Audi, when I was 10 in Switzerland I saw my first Audi and from the moment I clapped eyes on one I was in love. That Merc interior though is something else eh. Great stuff Nick, keep em coming 👍

  • I’ve got a 2026 GLC43 so won’t be upgrading for quite a while. The GLE53e is interesting though I must admit. Would be great to see that in either version although my preference would be for the SUV over the Coupe.

Nice review, shame you couldn’t really get to properly use the car though.
  • I originally wanted a GLE but had to settle with a GLC as parking is an issue where I live 😒 😢😅👍🏽
  • Next time bring a sound meter to measure the db.
  • I was thking on picking that exact color and model so great video !
Thanks, can’t wait for next January tu place my order
