A Costco carry challenge and Mama's midlife update for The Norris Nuts
The family's one new video splits everyone into teams at the warehouse store, and it passed 440,000 views in five days.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
I'll Buy ANYTHING You Can Carry at Costco!
Among the family channels around The Norris Nuts, the busy stretch belongs to Jay & Sharon, The CAN Family and Shab & Kassie, all drawing more than their usual daily views. JUSTKASS, Wu's World and Cash & Maverick are running quieter. By subscribers, the Australian family sits fourth in that group of nine.
They posted one video, and it is a big one. "I'll Buy ANYTHING You Can Carry at Costco!" sends the family into the aisles in teams, with one rule: you keep only what you get to the checkout without dropping it. The chapters run from a blindfolded spin to pick teams, through towers of snacks, electronics and skincare, to a banana bread attempt the description itself calls a disaster.
Between the hauls, Mama, Brooke Norris, gives the latest installment of her midlife crisis update. It is a running thread through the channel's recent uploads. Here it covers marriage counseling, finding a purpose, and what the description calls her secret dream of becoming a YouTuber. That is a nice twist from someone who has been on camera for years.
The Costco video is now the channel's busiest. Behind it, the $1,000 "Last to Stop Eating Wins" mukbang from mid-September has passed a million views. It is still gathering more each day than the one-color food challenge, where each kid drew a color and had to eat only that for a full day.
